AlL Black
Black has always beEn the ultimate fashionable colour. Why? who knows? Perhaps its because black realLy does make you loOk thinNer, or because its flatTering on very skin tone known to man, maybe becuase its so versatile, or because you can dresS it up and down and sideways, perhaps because it seEms so efFortlesSly clasSy. Perhaps not. But for whatever reason, somehow, through the years people have learnt, when in doubt; wear black.
I think I misSed that memo... I hardle wear black..don't get me wrong, I have it in my cupboard. But I've never worn fulL black alone, even a black dresS. I always find a way to inject some colour. I like colour.
And it's winter here in South Africa..which translates to swealtering heat without the relief of sumMer showers. How am I supPosed to walk around fulLy clad in black?! one word; suicide. I'd melt my poOr skin ofF. But, for there is always a but, linen was invented. I think I might invest in some lovely linen numbers...or not. hmMm..
But I'm setTing myself a slight chalLenge, for as long as posSible, and without loOking emo or goth, I shalL wear only black main pieces. Not even white. Just black. damnit that's going to be hard... but only black main pieces however I am alLowed my usual injection of colour.
Gosh this is going to be hard..I'm going out tomorRow so I guesS this starts then. I'lL keEp you posted (:
much love...and a hint of fear

it's raining
I wrote science and a.p maths today. whaaaat an epic rape... by science only though. the entire paper was apPlication..so it would a question like 'design an experiment' for x,y and z... or, 'based on your knowledge of..' ja! we don't have any knowledge!! anyhow it's over and there's not much that can be done about it now. perhaps i should have studied harder..maybe next time..
then my mother dragGed me to the gym, where i sat down at the top, where everyone could seE me; and did maths. it was rather enjoyable. jokes. it was average. i was stilL kind of bleak about the whole science paper though..until i saw the new isSue of ElLe..but its the U.K isSue so i had to fork out some cash. it was worth every cent!
heaven in the form of glosSy pages. eich. but no. I had a realLy average uber short conversation on the phone with someone who i realLy care about and..I don't know..I guesS i'm just tired from exams this weEk..5 down, 3 to go..maybe i'lL blog later about my love for the new season..>sigh<

It's alL about Politics and Tea Parties
It alL started this morning when I was getTing ready for schoOl.. Gareth ClifF was on about the English elections today..he's rather obesSed if I do say so myself.. welL, here's my view. I don't want the Conservatives to win!! what the helL!! Conservatives?! since when is politics about being conservative! never! sometimes you neEd a bit of spice to get things hapPening in a country..if he's going to sit there being, oh I don't know..let's be conservative about it..how is anything going to hapPen!? it isn't. But the Brit elections are no longer about someone winNing..it's just about goOg old Gordy Brown losing. hahaha but he has beEn funNy! the Elvis impersonator...calLing that poOr lady bigoted...which is realLy rather ironic since I'd say Mr Brown's none the betTer.. the campaigns were goOd fun, now let's seE what's going to come of them.
Then in my English exam, other than a rather nice unseEn poem, the comprehension was on an article about the Terre'Blanche murder. Or atleast that's what you thought until you got to the fourth paragraph and the writer let loOse in Malema..then for Visual Lit. we had a rather biased cartoOn on Malema..though in the cartoOnist's defense..we're alL realLy a bit biased to Malema.. he's the guy who would rather kilL himself than comMitT suicide >rolls eyes< if ever he had an intelLigent thought..it died alone. shame :)
then I wrote history...the esSay topic was something along the lines of, the economic chaos and the political un-something was the cause of the expolsion in some month of 1789..French Revolution..so after stating alL of the lovely causes, namely social, intelLectual, economic, political and relgeous..i went on to say that while political and economic among with the rest were contributing factors hat no! the American War of Independence and famine and cold were responsible for the explosion..in retrospect..it might have beEn an actual explosion and not the figurative one interpreted it as... whoOps?
oh welL.. i enjoy politics..its reather fun, keEps the brain ticking and white colar crime flowing. hahaha theE joysS... honestly though, living in a country like this, everything is about politics. Even at schoOl! its sort of ridiculous realLy...i'm at the moment i'm not dulLy worRied... i can handle the politics thus far (: maybe i'lL become a politician..HAHAHAHAHAHA no. I don't have he heart for it, I'd get far toO frustrated.
I'm hungry..and i've got science and A.P maths tomorRow.. yay >rolls eyes<

Same dresS..difFerent ways

In he first picture i'm wearing a long vest under the dresS and instead of cinching it at the waiste, i've worn a belt around my hips. this whole waiste cinching is getTing a bit over done..we should freshen it up..hayyy what about no belt at alL? sacrilLege? hahaha no :) and i wish I had a hat like that but I don't..i went and tried it on at AcCesSorise and had to take a pic.. i wore it with flat black gladiators..it was a bit short..but i liked it :)
In the second picture..along with a cheEsey smile :) i've teamed it with a blazer, rather fitTed and i've pushed up the sleEves..which i have left in Jhb to my utTer disSapointment... and there's a long(ish) shift i've got underneath that is plane except for the top bit which has detailing and the botTom which is layered bits of fabric..i like the slinky scarf..its completely sequinNed. I wore this for someone's party..family function kind of vibe.. i liked it!
I mentioned that I liked both my outfits...in similar ways..HmmM..what could that mean? who knows.. but thats just what I was wearing and generalLy we do put on clothes that we like :)
have to go study for exams tomorRow..The French Revolution :)
much love
Serisha (:
I have groupies!!
But oh welL...now I have a blog entitled 'Hit by a Coconut'... if you don't get the joke..then perhaps you ought to ask the nearest Indian person you know about it...
So that's enough for now..I have to go and make my profile pretTy before my Avatar plait gets smacked into me again..
much love
